USAID offers 5-year plan for community growth

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) five-year strategic plan with the EAC will focus on helping to increase trade, investment and food security. 

Other areas to be covered include health services and systems for marginalized and vulnerabe populations,  increased security of populations vulnerable to regional threats and strengthening East African institutions’ leadership and learning. 

Candace Buzzard, the new Deputy Mission Director of Kenya and East Africa for USAID recently paid a courtsey call on, Amb. Dr. Richard Sezibera, the  EAC Secretary General at the Arusha headquarters. Read more. Source | East African Business Week
