Enhancing grain trade on the continent through technology, information, policy and services would be top priority in the forthcoming regional grain stakeholders to be held in Kigali.
The three day summit scheduled to kick off on 1st October, 2015 is expected to look at ways of creating an enabling environment for the grain trade in the Eastern and Southern Africa thus increase incomes for farmers.
The summit, according to Bernard Otim, chairperson of east African grain Council-EAGC will take the form of technology, information, policy and service(T.I.P.S) sessions and will look at challenges facing grain sector. Read more. Source | Rwanda Express
