CTA.JPGStrengthening the Cotton, Textile and Apparel Value Chain in East Africa: An Assessment Draft. This Cotton Textile Apparel (CTA) Value Chain Study for East Africa was undertaken by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) East African Trade Hub (EATH) at the request of USAID/East Africa. The study evaluates the value chain throughout the East Africa region, identifies constraints and provides recommendations on key interventions to strengthen the CTA value chain. In addition to providing a reference for USAID/East Africa programming, the study’s findings and recommendations can provide a guide for bilateral programs and initiatives, especially those with economic growth and food security objectives.
