Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn said a lot is expected from the private sector to enhance the overall ties between Ethiopia and Rwanda.
The Prime Minister, who meet Ethiopian and Rwandan business persons here yesterday with the visiting Rwandan President Paul Kagame, said the private sector in both countries should take their countries' development to the next level.
Saying Ethiopia and Rwanda have a lot in common, HaileMariam mentioned political stability, participation in peacekeeping operations and fast economic growth as the major similarities.
"Both countries have been massively and robustly investing on the physical infrastructure to drive the course of doing business", he said.
Saying the countries need to utilize these similarities to further enhance cooperation, particularly in investment and trade, he said.
He called for more Rwandan investment and businesses in Ethiopia.
