Mauritius launches Coordinated Border Management Service

A Coordinated Border Management (CBM) Service, which aims at facilitating cooperation and promoting trade facilitation measures in terms of early clearance, reduction in costs and dwell time in the supply chain, was launched on Friday 25 January 2019 by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Protection, Mr Ashit Gungah, at the Customs House in Mer Rouge. A Mobile Scan Van was also inaugurated during the ceremony, organised in the margin of the International Customs Day 2019, in the presence of the Director-General of the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA), Mr Sudhamo Lal, and other personalities.
