Organized by the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Rwanda Private Sector Federation, the event will run from July 25 to 28 at the Serena Hotel.
The women delegation is expected to be led by Kenya’s Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of East African Affairs, travelling to Kigali to network and share knowledge and experiences in business with the women counterparts in Rwanda, according to a statement.
The event is targeting key participants, who include SMEs, and other corporate women business owners. It aims to promote joint dialogue on reducing gender disparities in entrepreneurship and enterprise development to promote competitive women enterprises in the region and create platforms for women entrepreneurs to grow businesses as part of women empowerment strategy.
