EAC seeking common global trade position

The East African Community has drafted a negotiation framework to guide its trade negotiations with third parties including the US, the European Union and China that are some of its main trade partners.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade said the proposed policy is awaiting validation by the five member states. 
"The draft has been circulated  and is now undergoing national consultations before we can have a harmonised framework... hopefully by end of the year, "assistant director in the economic and international trade directorate  James Kiiru said yesterday. - Read more. Source | The Star
