The Federal Trade Competition and Consumer Protection Authority yesterday offered a training aimed at promoting smooth trade competition, protecting consumers right as well as creating awareness on trade merger.
In his opening remark, Authority Awareness Promotion and Legal Enforcement Deputy Director Mulugeta Abera said that the free market system creates opportunity to promote smooth trade in the country. The Authority is working to create a competitive trade relationship between traders, protecting the rights of consumers as well as improving a conducive market channel, he added.
