About 391 youth are currently undertaking an apprentice training programme on employment, thanks to the government’s initiative in its quest to down size unemployment rate.
The Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Parliament, Labour Employment, Youth and Disabled), Jenister Mhagama launched the training programme yesterday at the Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) headquarters in Dar es Salaam.
The training is part of the joint programme sponsored by the government of Tanzania through Skills Development Levy (SDL) and the private sector from China. It is taking place at the Tanzania Tooku Company Limited within the premises of EPZA. Read more. Source | Daily News
