The Hub intends to issue an Agricultural Trade Technology Identification, Promotion and Investment Grant in East Africa. The grant is designed to facilitate the increased utilization of modern agricultural technology practices in the East Africa Community (EAC) agriculture sector by supporting the commercialization of viable homegrown and international technologies to facilitate regional trade in agricultural commodities.
The Hub is seeking applications from entities that can provide: (1) Firm-level technical support to accelerate the adoption and commercialization of key technologies;(2) Facilitate investment for participating firms in the East African region (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi)
Through this Request For Applications (RFA), the Hub anticipates to issue a grant award of up to a maximum of USD 450,000 to the successful organization.
