Whether you are owner of a project yourself or you promote projects on behalf of clients, the search for capital is an often long, tiresome and costly process. The Investment Projects Platform, launched in December 2015, can help to make your life easier. It offers owners and/or promoters of investor-ready projects excellent exposure to an exclusive circle of Swiss and Swiss-based investors. Since the launch, 10 projects from 6 countries and 7 sectore have been pre-screened and published on the platform, and are consulted by potential investors.If you have a project in investor-ready stage, have a look at what the platform has to offer click here Terms and conditions are outlined on the website. In relation to the exposure your project gets, registration fees are comparatively low.Here are the criteria for projects to be accepted: Project(s) must be ready to be presented to potential investors, i.e. being complete with at least an executive summary, business plan and detailed financials The required investment volume is between 1 mio and 20mio USD. (Please take note that we cannot accept projects below 1 mio USD) Preference is given at the moment to projects in the sectors of agribusiness, energy, education, healthcare and ICT. Country-wise Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Botswana, Rwanda, Nigeria and South Africa are priority. Under the Hub’s project component four (Trade policy and regulatory reform), we invite qualified law firms with demonstrated experience in the East African Community (EAC) region to provide a regular review of the implementation status of the EAC Common Market Protocol, provide reform proposals and contribute to building the capacity of reform agents in implementing the protocol. Each proposal should be in respect to a specific EAC Partner State. Applicants may propose to undertake the assignment in multiple Partner States. Proposals are due no later than Friday February 19th 2016 at 11:59 pm local time Nairobi, to be submitted via email to the address provided in the instructions. (Late offers will be rejected except under extraordinary circumstances at DAI’s discretion.)  All proposals submitted shall reference the RFP Number “RFP-NAI-0025 Legal Advisory Services – (Country)” in the email subject line. Each proposal should be in respect to a specific EAC Partner State. Applicants may propose to undertake the assignment in multiple Partner States. The submission to DAI of a proposal in response to this RFP will constitute an offer and indicates the Offeror’s agreement to the terms and conditions in this RFP and any attachments hereto. The IT Specialist is responsible for the IT needs of the Hub’s office, including system installations, maintenance, and technical support. S/he is responsible for ensuring that standards set by the DAI home office are followed and project solutions are the most efficient and cost effective. S/he will ensure that proper back up, anti-virus and disaster recovery procedures are identified and followed and that end users have access to shared files, printers and email. The copy editor will:• Edit texts of a specialized or technical nature to ensure accuracy, clarity, cohesion and conformity with Associated Press Stylebook standards, policy and practice;• Consult with the relevant consultants and technical leads to clarify ambiguities, ensure conformity with specific aspects of editorial policy and practice, and rectify substantive errors;• Provide consistent formatting and a professional layout;• Check copy after layout against submitted Word file, noting any omissions, additional text, or final revisions;• In consultation with the Director of Communications, agree on specific return dates for each publication to be edited and communicate and explain any potential delays immediately to the relevant Technical Lead:• Additional responsibilities may include writing headings, figure titles and basic fact checking;DELIVERABLES:The following deliverables will be the responsibility of the consultant, to be delivered in accordance with deadlines to be agreed for each item.• Final documents should be duly edited and laid-out, and be ready to be published;• Documents will follow a report format that will be pre-agreed with the Director of Communications and relevant technical lead;• Attendance at meetings and provide consultation as required.

The M&E Specialist will support the development and day-to-day operations of the M&E systems to document project progress and results and inform program implementation and management. The M&E Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following detailed tasks: Develop and manage an effective database for documentation of project activities and results Conduct and/or support primary data collection for selected agricultural and non-agricultural commodities Develop and execute robust data analysis procedures using advanced statistical and geo-spatial techniques Support the development, review and implementation of the Hub’s Performance Management Plan (PMP) and M&E system. Support the design and execution of baseline assessments, annual surveys and other specialized studies. Provide day‐to‐day management of the project’s M&E plan. The Project Driver/Administrative Assistant will maintain all project vehicles and drive project staff to and from meetings, appointments, and all other project-related travel. Overnight regional travel may be required, as directed by the project.
