Newly revamped Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry makes strides in mandate to create business enabling environment in Kenya

On March 19, 2015, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry will welcome British Foreign Secretary Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP to sign an MOU between the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya and the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The British Foreign Minister will be accompanied by Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Amina Mohamed.

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently transformed from a parastatal to a private sector organization. It’s goal is to create a business enabling environment in Kenya. The East Africa Trade and Investment Hub will attend the signing event and is partnering with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry to deliver efficient and effective services to its membership and facilitate new investment in the region.
