Leather Sector In Kenya - Skill Gap Assessment (Executive Summary). This study identifies the leather industry’s current and future skill requirements and suggests actionable measures that could help in bridging gaps to enhance competitiveness. It also identifies skill and infrastructure disparities bench marked against global best practices, and makes suggestions and recommendations based on best practices in India. The study used primary and secondary data collection methods for both qualitative and quantitative data. Primary data was collected using specific questionnaires/information matrix formats comprising of both close-ended and open-ended questions. Secondary data was sourced from existing/recently concluded study reports, similar work undertaken earlier by multilateral developmental organizations, financial institutions, academic institutions, and nationally and internationally accessible databases.
