Global tech firms to meet in Kampala

Global tech firms and governments will convene in Kampala starting this week for a prime technology and education conference aimed at attracting more investments in the two sectors.

The "Innovation Africa conference" will run from September 30 to October 2, 2015 at the Speke Resort Munyonyo.

"Our goal is to attract increasing investment into education and technology in Africa through building meaningful, widely beneficial public-private partnerships," said John Glassey, the chief executive of AfricanBrains, the organisers of the conference in a statement.

This will be the fifth conference in Education and Technology summits staged annually in different African countries by Africa Brains. Read more. Source | Newvision
